Need to change internal IP to add wireless to DMZ
In setting up an Untangle device, I was told afterwards that they wanted to add their wireless router to the mix.
I already configured the internal interface to 192.168.1.1 and that is also the IP for the wireless.
My thoughts are to change the internal interface to 192.168.0.1 on Untangle and reboot. Is it that simple? or is it more involved?
(Aware that I will need to adjust the rules accordingly)
Internal: (Primary IP Address and Netmask)
I just did not want to make a quick change and brick untangle.
I would rather not have to change the linksys router to 192.168.0.1 as I have had problems before where it would not come up and I had to reset the linksys. Do the newer linksys routers allow for this? (WRT54G2V1)
I am not asking about the wireless configuration, after I change the internal IP, as I can deal with that.
Regards,
Scott.
