    Default Hulu on Devices

I've got Hulu+ and use it on multiple devices. I also have Ad Blocker on my Untangle.

Hulu works on PC - Gives message about being blocked.
Hulu works on XBOX - Perfect, No Ads, No pausing, No blank screen. Just the show as if it were on DVD - Best User Experience

However my xbox uses a lot more Electricity than say the Hulu app on my already running TV so...

Hulu doesn't work on my TV, BluRay or Android devices with Adblock in place.

Any one know how to get that working while still blocking those ads?

So... you want detailed instructions on how to wield Untangle to destroy the monetary feedback mechanism of a website you don't want to pay to use?

Hulu+ is paid access, just saying.

yes, but the Hulu+ fee only covers a portion of the costs. The ads make up the rest.

The OP isn't likely to get much help on that sort of issue here. Surely there are other places where blocking hulu ads is discussed.

It's a feature bundled with Untangle... why not use it to it's full extent?

And the one ad per show gets extremely annoying when it's repeated for every show you watch.

Because in this case you're using Untangle's feature to violate the license agreement of a service you agreed to just to play a video in the first place.

Beyond the ethical issues, there are a pile of potential legal issues if any official support is given on this topic.

And sorry I didn't notice the + first pass through. Personally I'm a Netflix customer, I refuse to support Hulu because I consider fee + ads to be double billing. I don't have cable TV either for the same reason.

When you use Hulu and Hulu+ you do agree to the ads. http://www.hulu.com/terms

Using Untangle to block the ads on a legitimate enterprise isn't within the terms of use.

I see your stance on this.

Will Ad Blocker continue to be supported or is it going to be phased out are more and more companies continue to cram advertizing down customers throats with terms and conditions?

i am unaware of any plans to phase out Ad Blocker. that being said, Ad Blocker is designed to block banners and things on web sites, not video-based advertisements (which is what I believe you're talking about, correct me if i'm wrong).

    Good to hear.

And yes this is for blocking video advertisements. They are far more pervasive than banners and use up a lot more bandwidth that is better suited to other things.
