Blocking Google Play Music
How would I go about blocking Google Play Music in App Control as I do not see it under application, its being abused here by using HTTPS. I have Education Premium. Thanks
You will probably have to create a custom rule by looking the event log in Application Control and seeing which type of ProtoChain Google Play Music is using. You should be able to build a rule to block it.
It appears the music is coming on port 80 non-encrypted with /IP/TCP/HTTP/GOOGLE.

If thats true you can probably also just throw in a web filter rule to block the URL. The trick will be determining the correct URL rule.Originally Posted by jcoffin

I was going to try this till I realized that the kid's are using https to access it as well.. I went ahead and created a custom rule using the suggested above and I'll test it after lunch.
