I can get my Untangle box working (meaning Internet access with any computer client), based on the default internal IP settings (192.168.1.1...and using the range of .100 to .200)....

However, when I change the internal IP address to a customized IP (192.168.168.1)...my client computers don't access the Internet....I verify Internet access and DHCP via the Connectivity Test...and it states that the box can access the Internet...when I ping internal IP address of 192.168.168.1, from my client...it times out.

Am I doing something wrong? The only settings changed are the internal IP address and the range of IP addresses.

Eastwest, what is your current network setup? Is the Untangle doing the routing or another device? Also, what happens when you change the Untangle to DHCP the address instead of manually setting one?

Also, I am curious about your subnet mask, since you are using a strange IP setting 192.168.168.1

Also, make sure to renew your DHCP lease after reconfiguring untangle.
your client ip should be something like 192.168.168.1xx with a 255.255.255.0 netmask.
