Is it possible to manage multiple interfaces with Untangle. So that you can select the DSL line, but also a ISDN or Analog interface for internet access?

Not at this time. If you have multiple WAN connections, I suggest getting a separate router that can support failover, redundancy, or advanced routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, and etc. Then put the Untangle behind that router in a bridgemode. Let the router handle the routing, and let the Untangle take care of everything else. We are working on multiple WANs, failover, QoS, and etc. (I dont have a time frame at this time, please stay tuned)

Since this thread is about a year old and has about the same topic I am interested in I thought I should post this here.

I would like to know if anything has changed in the meantime concerning the possibility of adding more (more than 3 that is) NIC's to one machine.

I've got 2 networks which I would like to keep separate, but I would like to run through one Untangle machine. ( so 2 internals and 2 externals) Can I or should I just get 2 machines for this?

Thanks in advance.

Its covered in about 20-30 different threads in here right now. 5.1 allows you to use up to seven interfaces, but only one can be external. You can run multiple external IPs into one Untangle box and use 1:1 NAT on the inside, but only one physical external interface is allowed. That should change in the future, just not yet.

Thanks for responding and sorry for asking. I guess I wasn't determined enough in my search for it because I could just find 2 threads concerning this issue.

Either way, thank again.

Don't be sorry for asking. I didn't mean to take a poke at you with my response, so I apologize if you took it that way. I think that with all of the threads that are on the forums, many are in some way a duplication of an earlier thread. A little searching goes a long way. Welcome to the forums, by the way!
