Is user authentication possible (eg against a radius server) in OpenVPN?
I would like some kind of password in addition to the certificate.
thanks!

Not within the Untangle software. Really nothing to authenticate it against except for the certificate. That would be a pretty nice feature I could see it's usefulness.
It would be interesting to see a radius server built into the software to authenticate both lan and vpn users.
Just my 2 cents at the end there.

I was thinking of a remote Radius server (which I already have), but a built-in one would do. I think OpenVPN can handle Radius servers. OpenVPN seems to work well but I'm not going to give it to users without some sort of password control!

You can lock down your exported host on your Untangle. Then if it is a file server, make sure it has a login requirement.

Or, would it be possible to use a simple password when launching the ovpn connection ? This is possible in IpCOP using the Zerina Add-on ...
