I am not sure if this has been recommended yet or not but users are finding ways around my content filter by using proxie servers. I noticed that there is not a defined blacklist on the Web Filter yet. I have googled around and found a black list which I can use of currenlty popular proxie servers.

But I wanted to ask if this could be added to the group list so that black lists could be update automatically.

Until then I figure I will have to enter each address manually. So another questions is can I find the config file that list is pulled from and copy and past the urls in it?

Thanks,
Cameron

Cameron,

Proxies are a problem. Someone sent us a list of 8500 proxy servers a few weeks back. By now, probably 2000-3000 are no longer in existence, and have been replaced by an equal amount (or more) with different identities. We're working on a way to deal with it. That includes your ability to supplement it. Give us a little while...

cweeks, what is the URL of the blacklist you found? I found Unblock Myspae (http://unblockmyspace.com/), which gives a list of proxie, but I thought I'd look at your's also, so I could be as comprehensive as possible. By the way, mdh, it's good to know that you guys are working on this problem. Thanks for all you do.

cweeks, are you blocking "Anonymous Surfing" category on our web content. That should help with your proxy problem.

Host: unblockmyspace.com

URL: http://unblockmyspace.com/
