After much feedback and discussion, we've decided to give a new layout a try.

As we grow, our little "general" forum was getting mighty busy and some users were asking for more organization.

We've added more organization, we've created some General categories, and a forum for each product/module.

In an effort to keep that small community feel of being able to see whats going on - we added a new "Latest Threads" thing at the top so frequent posters don't have to bother with visiting every forum individually.

Also, we put a "visit last unread post button" that allows you to quickly jump to the last unread message. (pic attached)

If you have any thoughts/suggestions/feedback - lets hear it!

Spreading out on multiple forums is a great idea. It will help categorize posts in a more consistent manner which will result in the forum becoming more search friendly. Granted it comes at the cost of a darn intimidating list of areas to navigate.

I took care of 400 or so tonight. Eyes are now crossed...stomach growling...I hear a personal-sized pizza in the distance calling my name. I won't tell you what else its saying.

P.S.

Before anyone screams "Where's my post?", I have been going through the Networking forum and splitting posts off to most appropriate forums. If you don't find your post in the big bucket, look in the one that you actually posted about!

I'm not sure I get your question, so I'll give it my best shot. If someone put a post in the Networking forum about Spam Blocker, I moved it to the Spam Blocker forum. I just barely started, so only about 400 threads have moved so far. If anyone else has been moving posts, there could be more.
