How to install untangle on ubuntu, can somebody provide me a detailed doc.

I tried that guide and all I got was an ubuntu 8.04 box that won't do anything once you login now. :) Click on things and it just sits there, no windows open except for the terminal.... I'm going to wipe the machine and start over again tomorrow, perhaps I shouldn't have installed all the patches and crap before running the install script . . . .
