Does the remote come with batteries? If not, what size does it take.

Last question.

Can I use my Universal remote instead so I don't have to carry around so many remotes?

I just got mine in the mail today after purchasing the feature. I'd have to say, I love the smooth style buttons compared to regular TV remotes with the big clunky style ones.
