Is there anyway to repair grub using the untangle disk? Any other way to repair the boot loader?
Thanks

Hi,
Depends on your circumstances. The Untangle CD wouldn't boot with my hardware so the answer in my circumstances is 'no'. However, I was faced with a similar problem and I had to repair grub after copying a virtual installation of Untangle to my target hard disk drive. I found an old Redhat CD and then used that to boot from. I then chose the Linux Rescue option. This will drop you to the command prompt. I mounted the target HDD and 'chroot'ed to the mount point. I followed the instructions here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=504678) to restore grub to working order.
Hope this helps,
