Dear All,

There would appear to be a new virus in circulation.

This one is being distributed by email with a subject heading ‘ FW: Your Online Flight Ticket N 72641 (OR OTHER ID) ’

The mail claims to be from United Airlines and states your credit card has been debited and that your flight ticket and invoice are contained in a zipped attachment.

The attachment is of course not a ticket but instead contains two quite severe malware / virus items.

I’m sure I don’t need to state this but DO NOT OPEN this item. The virus is very new and was not detected by our security systems untangle yet.

I thought i would let every user know as it has infected machines here, here is the virus report.

which is exactly the reason as to why, any antivirus company worth it's salt, would make it very easy for you to provide with a zipped file of your findings.

No. I wasn't asking you for that.

But, did you zip your "New Virus" and provide it to an Anti-Virus company??

This is a very easy and fast way, that Anti-Virus companies, can look at your zipped file and work to remedy the situation. Turn out an update to scan for it.
However, most don't make it easy for you to do that, anymore.
