Kaspersky vs. ClamAV

I am a big Kaspersky fan and use it on my own laptop. Of course I use ClamAV on my wife's Mac since there is no Kaspersky for Mac.

So all that being said, what are the advantages of using Kaspersky instead of Clam on an Untangle box?

kaspersky is a commercial company.
clam is an open source project.

in our experience both have very good real-world performance.
