WebFilter Scheduling

Hi,

Would it be possible to add a feature where you can specify what hours you want things like the web filter to be operational for? E.g. Get it to automatically turn off for an hour at lunch so people can browse more at this time? Some kind of scheduler option for most of the individual components?

We have an example in our wiki that is almost exactly what you are referring to. Its at: http://wiki.untangle.com/index.php/Policy_Management#Example:_Creating_a_Custom_Polic y_for_a_School

This is called Policy Management, and allows you to set usage rules based on pretty much any criteria you would like to use. I should also let you know that this is part of the Professional Package. You can try it out for 30 days, but this feature (and a few others) have a small monthly fee attached. Most of the Untangle Server is free, but there are a few things that aren't.
