Is anyone system halt on preparing hard drive?
I had the same problem, it was a linux file system already on the hard drive.
I deleted all partitions..then it works fine.

is ok now but...halt on formatting the Hard disk.
is the HD primary master ? ist the BIOS recognise the HD properly ?
also the CDROM ok ?

Tell us more about the processor, RAM, hard drive (vendor/size/type), any specific error messages you have received...

OK.. is P4 1.7GHZ, intel 845 chipset motherboard, 512MB ram, 40GB maxtor HardDisk, Intel graphics. CD boot up is fine also the Hard Disk driver I low level format already no partition in the HD but still have the same problem. HD is primary master and CD is secondary slave.
What is the manufacturer of the box? What type of disk controller is used? Is the Maxtor drive an IDE device? Type of NIC card(s)? Have you checked for a second disk partition or a root kit? Outside of hardware incompatibility issues, manufacturers sometimes use secondary partitions for emergency recoveries. Untangle wants the whole disk, not just the primary partition. Also, have you checked for root kits on the drive?

I change the Hard Disk Cable to 80pin then fix the problem, thanks all the replys
