Hi,
Untangle is not getting updated when setup behind squid(client > Untangle > squid/Firewall).The status also stays as "connecting" in the library Tab.

Can anyone explain how it gets the update (though port 80 or any other specific ports).What format the Update file would be(so that I can check the firewall in front of it for the port/file type restrictions)?

It needs port 80. Get it out from behind Squid. There are updates and upgrades. Upgrades will be several different file types, though mostly executables. Updates will be virus signatures and database updates. I don't know anything more specific...engineering input is needed there.

Port 80 Outbound right,then its already connecting to port 80 through squid.What is the need to get it moved from squid access.
