The virus blocker will crash the Netflix streaming app that comes with New Xbox Experience on the 19th. When you go to start a movie it will attempt to measure your connection speed and then your 360 will completely lock up. After disabling the virus blocker this is no longer a problem. I just haven't had a chance to see how the stream is sent so that it can be bypassed.

You might want to try to enable the virus blocker on untangle and then uncheck the box "disable HTTP download resume" under general settings. I know that this caused an issue with netflix streaming on the PC.

After 3 or 4 failed attempts (system locked up as described) to use the Netflix feature on the Xbox 360, I followed Mikeyman's suggestion and had immediate success. Thank-you for the post...you saved me a lot of frustration!!
I'm pretty sure that a bypass rule would fix this.
Go to config---networking---advanced----bypass.
Make a new one. Create it with a source address of the xbox. That way it will bypass the entire rack.

I completely forgot I was still running with virus blocker off! I forget if bypassing the rack will also bypass QOS... because that would be a bad thing when I game. Anyone know off the top of their head?

FYI. Running a ROKU box with virus filter seems to be NO PROBLEM.
