2Wire hostnames not updating?

I first parked Untangle inside our DSL 2Wire with the default hostname. I returned and changed that, but the 2Wire list of internal hosts didn't change.

I'm not sure if this is an Untangle or a 2Wire support question. ;-)

I'm working toward remote admin, of course, and this seemed a hitch. On the other hand, the "wrong" name on the 2Wire has the proper IP, so maybe I should just love the one I'm with if I can't be with the one I love, so to speak. ;-)

Hi Rasqual, and welcome to the forums....

If I understand your post correctly, I believe this is a 2Wire issue. You will need to refresh the 2Wire's host list. I think this is normally done through the Management and Diagnostic Console, usually located at http://gateway.2wire.net/mdc or http://(2Wire IP address)/mdc.

If this does not work, as you mentioned you could keep using the Untangle Server's IP address which you know is correct ;)
