Okay, I got a DSL modem, and a wireless router with 5 ports.
DSL -------->router>3 laptops.
I got a Toshiba Tecra 8000 that I don't use, and want for the server. 128 mb ram, and 10 gb of hard space.
Usually, companys have a minimum of requirements, but then I installed it on that laptop once, and it worked fine. So, the specifications are good for that laptop.
But, how would I connect the DSL ethernet to my laptop, and come out and go into the router? I got a Network card for an ethernet, and a USB for the DSL.
Would this work?
I would hate to try it, and it won't work, becuase I may use that laptop one day, but doubt it.
Will my network work?
