    Default Captive Portal n00b question!

I am trying to put some wireless routers on the captive portal. Since I am just putting the IP address of the router on the captive portal, will it authenticate all users using that router automatically? Or will each users be greeted with the captive portal page?

Yesterday I was using my phone to test and I got to the captive portal page. Today, it's not doing that, even though the timeouts should have expired. So I'm thinking, maybe somebody else has authenticated and that has authenticated everybody.

So my main question is how do I correctly set the captive portal for the routers. Do I put the router's IP or the subnet that the wireless clients will be in?

    Thanks a lot.

On further testing, I think the log-out thing is not working on my system. Even after I do log-out (which brings up a page saying successfully logged out), I can still browse normally. How do I troubleshoot this?

I think it is working as intended. I am just having a bit of a hard time understanding the timeouts and log-outs.

Ignore the pop-up logout button. It is for testing and should probably be removed because it causes too much confusion.
