I have tried using the format OU=MyBusiness,OU=Users,OU=IT as outlined in your wiki to a specific AD Org. Unfortunately, it will only work with the uppermost OU. e.g. I can use OU=MyBusiness but if I try OU=MyBusiness,OU=Users, it fails to connect. We are a school and I really only want to track student use.
On a related note, I have placed the script in GPO for just students (a policy only assigned to students). However, this tracks both staff and students, but not all of them. Two problems here... first, why does it also track staff? Is this because, once the script is run on a computer it monitors all users? If so, I may move this script to a GPO for student computers not student users. Second, why is it not tracking all students? It appears to be tracking about 100 users. When I pull a report of our content filter, there are some records that have no users... should I assume these are staff users and the script was not run for them? I have a paid subscription... would I be better off calling tech support on this? |
