Hi I am pretty new to Untangle and I am using lots of the apps on a 14day trial.
I have configured two racks, the first blocks all websites except our hosted webmail site (NoInternet Rack). The second allows most websites except for specific categories (Default Rack). I am using the AD logon script for username mapping and Policy manager to send the user to the correct rack. This works correctly when I specify the username in the Policy Manager but when I try to use a group, only the Default rack is used. I have looked at the Directory Connector and have found that in the Username Map list, under the groups section, the filtered group is not being reported. It seems to pick up default groups such as Domain_Users, Users, but not ones I have created such as NoInternet. Originally the group was nested but I have even tried creating the group in the root of the directory, but it is still not detected. Obiviously the Policy Manager cannot route users to a specific rack based on group membership if it cannot detect the group. Am I doing something wrong? Cheers Jon |
