Default Failure! Your settings are not correct.

Hi,

I've installed the directory connector trial, but I can't get it to connect to active directory. Is there any way to get more information on what error may be occurring? The message "Failure! Your settings are not correct." is not too helpful .

It is connecting to server 2003. LDAP Server Signing Requirements is set to none.

I can ping the DC and DNS is set correctly.

I've restarted untangle after installing the directory connector.

Untangle system info

Build: 9.0.1~svn20110627r29113release9.0-1lenny


If anyone has a list of things to try for troubleshooting that would be great also!.

If it is a paid module call support they will get you up and working quicker than troubleshooting on the forums will.

Thanks. I wanted to try it first, so nothing is paid for yet. If it works I'll pay for it! . I'm happy to try a few things, but I don't really want to pay for support, get it working, then find out it doesn't quite do what I want it to do...

Anyway... I have 8 days left to get it working and give it a try

Actually on a trial they provide support as well, they want to make sure you get it working right, because if it doesnt work, you are not going to buy it.

not unless you already enabled ssh - if you want to call support, we should be able to patch it for you if your box joins our support channel (it may or may not depending on the device(s) upstream of the Untangle.
