Default Connections directly from UT to AD

Hello guys, have you thought about a way to allow UT to connect to AD controller directly to get client information and not running scripts at clients?

I ask because we have a lot of trouble getting the script running on each session.

They some times are executed, some times not. Sometimen need to be run 5 times in a row to get registered on UT to gain access from Policies.

I have bin playing with some scripts. (WMI)
To query the DC and then filter the 528 and 538.
    And form them register logon/logoff.

But Time is not my friend and i have not come farther then listing both events.
The rest now is to compare the "Logon ID" id for the 528 event id and then listen to 538 for that Logon ID.

The 528 ID has all you need Workstation name so you should be able to reverse DNS it and get a IP back.

Other UTM vendors use this metod and i think it would be a winner for Untangle as well..
(Putting the "trust" at the client side is never a good idea)

Same here, we started using this module to save time but some times it behaves weirdly

If we get good code, I'll post here
