Default Restricting Web Sites based on Username?

    Hello All,

I need to be able to restrict users web site availability based on either their IP address or AD username, would this AD connector allow me to do that or would I require the Policy Management add-on as well.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,

In order to restrict based on user, you would need both.
If you just wanted to restrict on ip you would just need policy manager.
Without policy manager you will get reports with users instead of ips

OK...So I can set groups of IP addresses to a rack and set the web filtering rules through that, thats better anyways. And the only thing that the AD connector would add is the ability to differentiate/report based on username, correct?

    not its not only that
you can create a custom rack add the A.D. User, activate it
and it will hunt down the user where ever he sits.
while ip is assigned to a specific computer only this ways where ever the user log on to it will have the same restrictions
