I just set up my Active Directory Connector and it seemed like everything worked fine.
I found another forum message that I could test it by going to: https://untangle_ip_address/adpb/debug And, that showed me the logged in users, ip address and computer name. But, when I click on "User Directory", then "Active Directory Users", all I get is [any]. That doesn't seem correct to me... am I doing something wrong? Thanks - Dan |

Welcome! Did you go through the whole AD setup? This includes downloading the AD login script and adding it to the scripts directory. When they login, group policy runs the script and registers them. Check there first, and also do some reading in this forum for what users WILL and what users WILL NOT show up. There are basic criteria involved.

I thought I had searched the forums well enough before posting, but I just found my solution --
I had the domain up as "mydomain", but the actual name is "myfulldomain.local" -- I'm not sure why the test worked with just "mydomain", but it could be because that is the netbios name... Thanks! Dan |
