spam filter for mailenable

Is it possible to just put the untangle box between my switch and the mail server and just have it do spam filtering? We host about 40 domains on the mail server and looking for a way to filter spam. New here so bare with me

Yes, just put UT in bridge mode

I use mail enable and have been using untangle for many years without issue. Untangle will work in either bridge or router mode. I have run it both ways. Bridge mode is easier to setup. You don't have to make any changes to the mailenable server.

For those who need help figuring out "bridge mode"

Basically, the way to do it is to go to Config -> Networking and set your "internal" network to Bridge. All your computers and other internal devices should point to the original router/firewall you have in place.
