Email on Alerts

Is it possible to have Untangle email alerts when certain treasholds are met. Example. If you have so many intrusion attempts of a certain type it would email a user? Or something of that nature?

you can setup syslog and kiwi (a free syslog server) and do all sorts of things like this.

however, as a word of warning, all you'll managed to do is fill your inbox. tuning these systems to alert you when something interesting is actually going on is very difficult.
