    The linksys router needs to be converted to a AP wireless point. If you have the model number of the Linksys, we can point you to the steps for that model.

    You need to enable DHCP on the Untangle.

    Config -> Networking -DHCP.

    You need to DISABLE DHCP on the Linksys.

    What port on the Linksys are you connecting to?
    If you have Untangle doing DHCP make sure you are not plugging the network into the WAN port.
    You can use the WAN port on the Linksys it just makes the setup different.

    Also your subnet mask on the Linksys should match Untangle.

    *edit* I'm blind!

    And the conversion process for any wireless router into AP mode is always the same.

    1.) Set the LAN IP address to something compatible with Untangle's internal interface. (This is so you can manage the device later)
    2.) Disable DHCP
    3.) Attach one of the switch ports on the wireless router to either your core switch, or to Untangle's Internal interface.

    It's 1, 2, 3 easy stuff. And yes, don't use that pesky "internet" or "wan" port, that port is only used when the router needs to be a router, we don't want it routing anything anymore, that's Untangle's job!
