I put this in the firewall forum because I think this is where my answer lies, but if that is wrong feel free to move it.
I want to block MSN messenger for my whole network except for one static IP address. If I add a rule under protocol control for application/x-msn-messenger can I override that some how for the single IP I want to have access ? Pointers/Tips ? |

Protocol Control is your only hope... and it isn't perfect. The MSN client is good at making its traffic look like regular web requests.
