Exclamation How to allow Live Messenger (MSN) go thru Firewall?

    Hello,

On my Untangle Firewall app, i have a rule that blocks all connections. On top of that i open some exceptions like outbound access to port 80, 443, etc.

This is my way of having a super restricted, streamlined, finely combed access to the outerworlds.

Now it's time to open access to Live Messenger, specifically the voice chat.

I was wondering if anyone did this before and if yes, please share what ports you opened.

I did it long time ago on a ISA 2004 server, opening both audio and video and it worked well (solved the problem).

This time i'm worried about audio/voice chat only. Video could remain disabled for all i care.

I'm currently testing this, with precious information that i got on:

You cannot make phone calls or start voice or video conversations with Windows Messenger
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324214

Network ports and URLs that are used by Windows Live Messenger
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927847

    I will report later.
