    Default Port forward not working

I use the firewall rules and port forwarding to allow access to an app server from an outside web server. I have 4 app servers and 3 are running w/o issue. The rules are identical except for the destination ip and port number.

IIS and routing and remote access is configured the same as the working machine.

Any ideas as why the port will not open.

    Rule:
    Pass
    Log
    TCP
    External
    Internal
    source: aa.bbb.cc.33-aa.bbb.cc.52
    Destination: aaa.bbb.ccc.14
    source port: any
    destination 1675

    Port forward:
    Destination Port: 1675
    Protocol: TCP
    Source Interface: External
    Destined Local
    New Destination: aaa.bbb.ccc.14

    Thanks

Check the default gateway on the web server in question, is it Untangle?

    Default gateway is untangle.
Ip's, subnet mask and default gateway is correct.
Same settings as other app servers except ip address.

Something must be different, the port forwarding rule you've listed appears correct. The format of that rule, assuming you've transcribed it accurately does work. The rule will not work from the LAN of the network, I assume you know that as well. Have you tried turning off the firewall module during a test to see if it's in the way?

Same results Firewall module on or off. I thought it could be a problem with the configuration on the app server but,
subnet and default gateway are correct. IIS is set up exactly the same as the working app servers. Routing and Remote access settings also match. As to IP Routing protocols.

    Still ??????

You have RRAS running on your IIS servers?

    YES RRAS is running.

I have been through all of the services and all required are running.

Restarted the applications services and RRAS, DNS, IIS and matche all remaining running services to a working app server.

    Still no luck.

Created a new port forward to a working server. Thinking this is a firewall issue. The new port does not open either. Never had problems with this in the past.

Shot in the dark but have you turned off the firewall on the IIS machine?
