Cannot contact k9 service. Problem with K9 Web Protection Not Working

I have a few users that are using K9 Web Protection from http://www1.k9webprotection.com/ and they getting "Cannot contact k9 service". I have looked through the firewall/webfilter etc. but cannot determine what is causing the problem. Has anyone run into this and if so, do you have any solutions.The pages are not accessible most of the time. Sometimes you can access various pages like cnn.com etc. but then all of a sudden you get the same message from pages within the same site.

Connecting it externally or via another connection outside the Untangle system, works fine.

you should probably create a nat rule, because k9 use a proxy server...127.0.?.?
I'm not an expert... but if this can you help.
