1. System has become slow as avg load is now higher even at very low traffic and sessions.
2. Entire configuration has gone and site list in web filter are not restorable.
3. Report generation is not working. It is giving some Java error.
java.lang.Exception Unable to run daily reports: Return code: 1
4. Event log view for any module takes lot of time and shows blank.

It is contrary to the claim that new version will improve the performance.

I am unable to use the system as the behaviour is just unacceptable.

Quick Patches if any or upgrades are urgently needed or else roll back to previous version.

This isn't meant to be rude. But the list of complaints you've listed are pretty much a list of standard complaints that plaster the forums every time a release rolls out. It's time to roll out the flame suit, because unfounded complaints are about to come out of the woodwork.

If you have support, contacting them will be your best bet. If you're running an unsupported box, a fresh installation may be needed. Or else, you will need to troubleshoot each issue.

I'm not saying the upgrade process doesn't have bugs, nor am I saying the 9.1 release doesn't have issues. What I am saying is that the upgrade process causes strange things to happen from time to time. And often these situations are artifacts from some issue that was preexisting.

How old is your installation?

FWIW, I was recently informed by tech support that these early releases aren't officially supported. I was referred to bugzilla to report any issues I was encountering.

There was some miscommunication there. These releases are fully supported as long as you are a paying support customer. Otherwise you're asked to file a bug in bugzilla.

Sorry if we crossed some wires there.

Thanks for the clarification. You might want to pass this on to your support staff because this was conveyed to me on more than one occasion recently.

When our Untangle upgaded to the new version, I noticed in the Firewall event logs that the ports are no longer displayed? Monitoring blocked ports are useful, any way of showing again the client and server ports? Thanks
