I am really happy with untangle& currently migrating away from Microsoft Firewall.
I was wanting to know if there is anyway to create groups.
For example by default I block all traffic if I have 4 mail servers 192.168.0.144,192.168.0.123,182.168.0.186 & I am wanting to allow them only these machines to access/send to port 25.
I have to create this firewall rule:-
Source Address: 192.168.0.144,192.168.0.123,182.168.0.186
Destination Interface: External
Protocol: TCP
Destination Port: 25
Back in ISA Server you could just have a group called "Mail Servers" and list all the mail servers IPs including having a computer/description for each IP under that group it made it so much easier for deleting/adding since this took effect on all the rules.
This is especially hard when:-
A. I have 10 soure IPs listed & means I have to copy it to a notepad++ to see the complete list for editing &
B. I have to have a IP spreadsheet/document infront of me to know what IP is what machine as there is no names/aliases for each IP
On a seperate note an ideal way to have it would be like this with correct tab separation which cannot be shown on this website.
Soure Address
Delete IP Description
X 192.168.0.123 EXCHANGE-00
X 192.168.0.144 EXCHANGE-01
X 192.168.0.186 EXCHANGE-02
(You then press the "X" button to delete the IP from the rule & would mean if we did not have groups this would make it a lot easier to read & you can edit by clicking into the relevant column section)
Is there anything like this or groups in Untangle that I can use?
Also a very minor thing is there appears to be no way to expand the windows any further tried with IE,Firefox,Chrome?
