The Wiki for the File overrides section made it seem that this will exempt any file that is added to this section.
It would be helpful in a future upgrade, to have a GUI driven option to ... 1. Block All SPAM from a certain countries. (check boxed with countries) 2. Global File Protection for certain files when doing upgrades, and then if an upgrade needs to overwrite those certain files it will prompt the user to inform them that the file will need to be upgraded. |

#1 has been discussed extensively and it won't be added because it actually *lowers* spam performance. You are free to do it with hacks though, knock yourself out.

Yeah, you can't prevent users from themselves. What about adding a message box that would display if turning on a feature, or a Warning about the feature indicating this could significantly impact performance, or something to that effect.
I can easily see government entities and businesses that would want to block a certain country. |
