Nope.
Your mail client is establishing a connection to Google's servers that is encrypted. All Untangle sees is a protocol header with destination address and a pile of gibberish. Sure it's listening to the session, but it's just gibberish it can't understand what is going on. That's kind of the point to encryption. If you want Untangle's Spam features to work, use an unencrypted message transfer option. Which directly translates into stop using Gmail. ![]()

Also keep in mind if you are using Google Apps for Business you can setup mail routing in hybrid mode, allowing incoming and outgoing mail to hit your own servers unencrypted before being shuffled on to Google's servers over an encrypted pipe. It is fairly self defeating however to pipe it through your own bandwidth, in addition to not necessary in the first place, seeing as Google's own anti-spam/malware capabilities are pretty spot on, at least for Business Apps users.
