    Default PHP Log Tail Viewer

    http://code.google.com/p/php-tail/

Rather than telling people to dig into system log files it seems to me that it would make more sense to have a log viewer built into UT's UI. I found this bit of code that works well enough. However, it cannot read the log files because of permissions issues.

I don't like the idea of putting the web server in the adm group to fix this issue. So I'm thinking a cronjob to copy the important logs every 5min or so into a directory the web service has access to.
