Default Export blocked Firewall Events

Hi,

is it possible to extract the blocked Firewall entries live to a log file with a shell command?

something like this:

echo "select ???? " | psql -U postgres uvm > report.log

Thanks for your help.

Just click "export" in the UI.

firewall rules are no longer stored in the database as of 9.1

Why not use the Report option. Should do the same thing.

Reports, View Report, Firewall, Firewall events, Download Data (XLS).

That will cover the previous 24 hour period.

Oh I see what he's asking.

Yeah, glacob is right.

Technically you can do it via the database, but it isn't going to be in a format you can work with.

Okay! I thought that I could just execute a command and have the last x Days in a file instead of generating reports each time.

But if it is not possible I will have to go that way.

What do I do when I need more than 24 hours?

Thanks for your help!

This would depend on the number of days you have set for retained data. If you have data stored for 31 days, then you can access the weekly report and do the same export or monthly.
