I use this mod of the Untangle UTM with the OCS Inventory Server integrated with GLPI to document and track hardware, Software, Issues and Resolutions
This assumes that you have a functioning OCS Inventory Server This is not a tutorial on how to use OCS Inventory.

Login via ssh

Enable Debian Repositories:

As of this posting you will have to add the current Debian Lenny repositories to the file /etc/apt/sources.list since they have been moved.


apt-get update
apt-get install -y ocsinventory-agent

Disable the Debian Repos.
When the Install has completed issue the command:

ocsinventory-agent --server http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/ocsinventory


where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP address of your already running OCS Inventory Server
