Port forward examples are on imspector web page.

(Make it on Untangle)

However the raw logs are folders, inside that folders logs are save with different names.

6.2 UPGRADE:

I just upgraded my 6.1 machine to 6.2. At first I could not get the login to work. It told me the service was unavailable even after a reboot.

I restarted the alpaca service with /etc/init.d/untangle-net-alpaca restart and it works now.

I have tested, ntop, webmin, phpsysinfo and squid. I have not tested imspector yet.

As of right now the upgrade was successfull with a little help.

In Imspector use this:

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --destination-port 1863 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 16667

This is redirect MSN chat to Imspector so it can possible to see all conversations..

Imspector is running OK now, I was messing up the port foward rules...

As for Squid, I installed it in a separate machine and works fine!

Hi jchaver3,

I'm still stuck with this problem. Hope you can share what you did so I can also fix mine. I only intend to capture Google Talk chat logs.

Here's what I did on the terminal window:

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --destination-port 5222 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 16667
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --destination-port 5223 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 16667

This is aside from what i did in the Port Forwarding section in the networking GUI. All give without results.

Well, I didn't use the terminal to create the port foward rules, I attached a screenshot of mine. The problem was the "destination local" that I was adding to the rule, when I removed it, it worked. Sometimes I messup port foward rule with packet filter...

When I installed IMspector initially I could see the logs but when the server was rebooted imspector.cgi only shows "updating" but there is chats being captured in /var/logs/imspector.... any ideas?

Installed on 6.2 everything works great, except web-filtering still not working with squid installed. Any updates on this yet?
