Is it possible to backup the config and rebuild the box during downtime? I've found that this is a quick way to solve issues. Also, if you have managed switches, can you apply an ACL on them to stop conficker traffic before it reaches the untangle?

@nml, yes, I've a backup, and if can't get the space back, I'll do that. But is a risky process, some releases ago backups were unable to be restored; I hope that is fixed now.

The main switch is managed, but cant find ACLs settings.

My apologies, the command is:

vacuum full verbose;

weird syntax but that's the right command.

At the end of the vacuum verbose, it should have told you some stuff about max_fsm_pages?

You have a very busy site and postgres isn't able to do the housekeeping necessary.

Yeah, backup and restores are always kind of fun. It's gotten much more effective in later versions. What version are you on?

@mrunkel, excellent, it has like 5 hours and still working, the disk is half full now.

@nml, oh yes, it's fun, but not the same with a lot of internet starved users

This box is 7.1.0. I was waiting to have some free storage to do the upgrade.
