Would it hurt, if I add extra (bold) entry in kernel (example):
"kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22-1.2115.nptl_22.rhfc1.atsmp ro root=LABEL=/1
hdc=ide-scsi rhgb acpi=on"
or maybe even to OFF and as I don't need any type of management, since this machine needs to be in 'Full Power Mode" all the time, unless I need to shut it down when I want to.
My current BIOS setting is APM is disabled and ACPI using IRQ9 with S1=ON.
Any ideas, to turn ACPI in kernel...at the end off the line to put ACPI=ON, as I want it to shut down fully.
I don't know, if I change IRQ in BIOS from 9 to something else???
I don't mind turning it off manually, but it's not complete solution as we all know :-(
