Partitions formatting

Hi There,

i just bought new sata 500Gb hdd to install UT, everyting going smooth until parttitions formatting, once reach to there it take more then 40min but still not yet complate? the green bar stop moving?

how long UT take to format Hdd?


please advice

Use 1 TB drives a lot and usually even that formats in 10 minutes or less. From scratch install to get to first boot registration takes 20 minutes usually I'd say.

Seems abnormal to take that long.
