Default Its now between two Atoms...

    Jetway JNC9KDL-2700 vs Intel D2500CC

$36 difference in price (Jetway is more expensive)

I'm trying to decide between these two boards. The 2500 doesn't do hyperthreading and has a slower clock rate... But can anyone confirm that it can do 64-bit (reports that the 2700 cannot). Would like to go with an Intel build (have never ever had a problem with an Intel branded board) and wondering about the ethernet chipset on both. I like the mini PCI-e slot on the Intel, in case Untangle ever supports wifi.

    Opinions?

Unless you are going to use more than 4G of memory, don't bother with 64bit requirement.

I'd be far more interested in the dual intel nics on the intel board rather than the realteks on the jetway board.

For those wondering the reason is simple, Atoms will spend A LOT OF TIME working at 100% while an i3 or even a Sandy Bridge Pentium do the job keeping a low CPU usage.

Of course, I am talking about the low power versions of this CPU's, i3 xxxxT and Pentium GxxxT.
