    Default Processor Change

    Hi,
I have a UT machine running on a core 2 duo processor with 4 gig ram
protecting around 75 fixed machines in two computer labs plus around 25 wifi clients during peak hours.

The motherboard on one of our computers with a core 2 quad recently conked out and we have no intention of replacing it.

So, if I change the core 2 duo to the core 2 quad processor, will I need to do a re-install?

Will there be a noticeable change across the network?

I upgraded my Core2Duo Untangle box to a Core2Quad and didn't re-install. It detected it and worked. I haven't had any issues with it since is. This is, however, a home deployment. As always, YMMV.
