My server arrived today, this was SUCH a great deal! Upgraded the memory to 4Gb and HD to 160Gb (latter pretty unnecessary). Total was $308 shipped, plus tax. Add another $48 for the Intel Pro/1000 NIC's and for well under $400 one has a rock solid Untangle platform

    Dell PowerEdge SC440
    Dual Core E2180 (2.0GHz)
    4 Gb DDR2 667MHz ECC RAM
    160Gb SATA drive
    Dual Intel Pro/1000 NIC's

    Running Untangle ISO v5.42 smoothly!

Man, looks like Dell is retiring the SC440.

Been using this with Untangle (as a VMware ESXi virtual machine) at home for more than a month now with no problems. I have 8 other virtual machines on the same server running at the same time.

Not sure if this will work, haven't tested it myself, seems like a good spec server for the Untangle.
