Default Installing on DL360 G5

Hi all, I'm running into problems trying to install on a HP DL360 G5, wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction?

Installation runs through fine, had to load the broadcom nic drivers from usb but otherwise was uneventful. But on rebooting the server goes to 'Attempting boot from c:' and just stops there. Anyone had this before or any ideas where to start? Reinserting the cd just restarts the installation process from scratch.

Thanks for any help - I'm new to linux so don't even know where to start.

Ok - fixed it!

For reference, I had to boot using a super grub cd (supergrubdisk.org) and run through fixing the MBR.

I'm having the same issue with my HP DL360 G5. I've edited the menu.lst and replaced the root=uuid xxxxxxx with root=/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 , but it still hangs at "Attempting boot from c: "
The RAID controller is P400 with 2 x 146GB SAS drives. I've run the HP Firmware Maintennance CD 8.6.
If i boot with a super grub cd , it will automatically boot into Untangle, not the super grub cd menu. Can you run through the steps you went through with the Super Grub CD?
Any other suggestions out there?

The key is remove the USB stick before it loads the part that creates the hard drive partitions. Having the usb stick inserted (as /dev/sd0) confuses the heck out of the installer. It thinks that's the SCSI disk.
