Hi,
Good Day. I have a problem doing the subscription transfer. In my case, my server (the one with the subscription) has a busted HDD so I have replaced the old HDD with a new one then re-install the Untangle. When I opened my account, it is displaying that the subscription is active but not on the server that I am currently logged-on. How can I transfer my subscription? The server that I am going to transfer my subscription to is the same machine, only I have replaced the HDD because the older one is already busted. Thanks |

The installation is locked to the UID of the Untangle install, not the hardware itself.
Reinstalling Untangle regenerates this UID. Fortunately, there is no change to the process! Log into your store account, click subscriptions on the left, and in the top right there is a transfer subscription link. If you do this from your Untangle UI it will give you the current server as an option, move the sub and click ok. Alternately you can contact UT Support and they will help you.
