Grub Splash is not found

On boot, the grub splash image is not found and i have to press a key to continue... how can I fix this? I am using the 64-bit version and made /boot a 200MB ext2 primary partiton at the beginning of the drive. The system boots fine after pressing a key.

I would reinstall and let the installer do the partitioning.

Didn't find the issue til it was all done.... may back up my settings and do just that.... really don't want to though

most likely the quickest and correct way to do it..

Reinstall did it... though restoring my settings file broke it bad... had to re-reinstall and start fresh.
